In this episode, a child shares stories from home, school, and everyday life, moving between humour, reflection, and personal experience.

The conversation begins with a family moment about changing a bed and helping with shopping, followed by reflections on school life, achievement, and behaviour in class. The child talks about receiving student of the month, listening in lessons, and enjoying parts of schoolwork that feel interesting and engaging.

Ideas about kindness and calm responses appear throughout, including how to handle conflict, support others, and avoid making situations worse. The child describes friendship at school and in the park, including meeting new people, building close friendships, and enjoying shared jokes and everyday moments.

The episode also explores helping others in need, including supporting people experiencing homelessness through food, water, and care. Alongside this, the child reflects on family traditions, courage, and meeting new people with openness.

The conversation closes with a personal wish to return to gymnastics, showing how hobbies, goals, and financial realities shape children’s hopes for the future.

So technically we got a new bed and the old bed we broke it and I got to use a lot of things that I didn't know that they exist and um well my mom and my sister got to the store to buy new bedding stuff like that while me and my dad breaks the bed and it was so fun. How are the school? Um it's actually amazing and I've been doing so good because once time we had an assembly. If you don't know what assembly is it's technically where there's a bunch of chairs and then there's like a metal thing where we put on it and I got that but since we didn't get to have one at the end of October because we usually have assembly at the end of the month and uh we had we didn't get it October because um the principal wasn't in we have to have an assembly when the principal is in so when it was November we um got to like I got student of the month for October and then another boy named Kevin got student of the month too.

So I'm actually doing amazing I've been doing so good I've been listening when the teacher tells us to be quiet I be quiet stuff like that. I'm a little bit chatty when the teacher explains but she says Alexa can you please stop stop talking and I stop. We go through our homework what to do.

I love doing one part of our homework I love because it's just very interesting and it's just so fun we answered a bunch of questions to like help us if the leaders don't know or if my parents don't know. Okay I think I know what I would um like um be if I get the chance to be this um teleport. Anytime I say a word like teleport me to McDonald's it would just teleport me too.

Calm voices help tricky situations fail easier. So that's basically if you if you want to feel calm like if you are if you're like very angry and you have like if you get in a fight and you don't know what to do it's better if you just stay calm and just tell an adult just to let them know and just stay calm that's how you don't make it worse. Being kind don't steal from any shops.

I would like if anyone hits each other and they mad at each other I would try to make them feel better and just stay calm and we'll figure this out and once we've and once you apologize to each other the fight is over. Like anytime I go out to the park I always I always meet like a bunch of people and I ask them if they want to be my friend and sometimes we meet Brianna at the park. Yes do you know Brianna? She goes to my school we're in the same class and um we are best best friends.

She does like a lot of funny things and sometimes we get into a fight and then five seconds later we become friends again. She's just like amazing um anytime she goes to some she goes somewhere she shares the news she shares her news with me before telling anyone else and I get to go up with her on Mondays to tell her what her news is and it's just very funny and I do the same to her. What if you could help one person in the world who it would be and why? Probably one homeless people yes sometimes we stop by like a homeless group and we give them food money water like I could see that they're struggling they're having a tough time some of them have kids puppies and I just give them like baby food puppies food money anything that could help them be better like like not really struggling it's just very nice and even some homeless people they like um they make me laugh and sometimes we even get friends with their kids so actually we have a tradition with my family that we invite my uncles my grandmom my god my godmother my godfather my granddad and yeah that's it because um we because we just like that and we always just talk about it like to be like to be to be like brave and because they experience lots of um cool things but they're very but they're very kind of nervous because you know when we just start new like start new things and it's kind of scary because you don't know any people but then you kind of just get along and you just like meet people and yeah they just become your friends honestly my christmas wish is like to join gymnastic because I used to be in gymnastic but I couldn't go anymore because we had to pay every month and it was just really hard and that's my wish and we practice a lot of gymnastic at home and we also and I just want a bunch of gymnastic things that's my wish of my present but honestly I don't need gymnastic things all I just need is money and then I can actually go to the store and buy them because it's kind of a waste of money
